Together with her friends Derek Jarman and Andrew Logan Zandra Rhodes was a regular at the 'Fashion Forum' series of discussions I organized at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London) in the mid 70s. Indeed she was one of the first designers to discuss her work. When a later 'Fashion Forum' featured Vivienne Westwood and the SEX boutique she created with Malcolm McLaren this may have been where a connection was forged between Derek and the early Punks - a connection which resulted in Derek's film Jubilee.
