The little shop which Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood opened on the 'wrong' end of the King's Road went through lots of transformations - Too Fast To Live Too Young To Die, SEX, World's End. The later name derived from the fact that this (then rather downtrodden) part of Chelsea was locally called 'World's End'. This photo of mine records the time when Vivienne went upmarket with a proper fashion show and such like. Famously, there was (and I believe still is) a large clock which revolved backwards.
